That awesome 5.6m console in less then a year with no games. That is a great first year if you ask me. and we not forget that the ps2 and the psp is also selling well.

Why so much hate for sony, yes they made a mistake and released a 600 dollar console, but there intention was good. they wanted to add blueray for that developers wont have space limitation and also so that they could give you the best gaming experience, the same goes for the cell procesor. Sony Is not selling Software because of the price of their Unit. but know since it lowerd its price we shall hopefully see a increase in sale. i mean wasnt resistance still selling, and it was relased like a year ago. and also didnt motorstorm and resistance sold well over one million.

The ps3 sold around 5.5 million. People that is not bad fot the first year. And plus the Ps2 is still selling strong for like 7 years nOW.
